Encore Sotheby’s International Realty Purchases New Property

Carmel, Indiana (December 15, 2016) – Encore Sotheby’s International Realty is preparing to break ground on its flagship building in Carmel, Indiana. The property at 12411 N Pennsylvania Avenue was acquired in mid November and will be the home to Encore Sotheby’s International Realty, a boutique luxury real estate firm.

Mark Zukerman, Founding Principal said, “We are excited to create a collaborative space for our Brokers, business partners, clients, and the community. With nearly 20,000 square feet, the building will be our headquarters and provide additional space for retail, business and restaurant tenants.”

Zukerman is working alongside architect Scott Perkins with Indianapolis based Blackline to create a unique aesthetic, ideal for multiple uses, including Encore Sotheby’s International Realty’s office space. “Blackline is very excited to be collaborating on the new home for Encore Sotheby's International Realty. The design is intended to evoke a crisp, contemporary image consistent with the brand. The three story design provides space for Encore Sotheby's International Realty plus multiple other tenants and gives them access to outdoor spaces at grade and on the rooftop for interaction and collaboration. The exterior material palette is elegant and understated with two colors of gray brick and abundant glass,” states Perkins. Shiel Sexton has been tapped for the construction of the project. “Both partners provide incredible experience and expertise in the creation of interesting spaces throughout Central Indiana. We are thrilled to have them working with us to help create such a special place,” says Zukerman.

Zukerman selected the parcel at the intersection of Old Meridian and Pennsylvania in Carmel after a lengthy search for Encore Sotheby’s International Realty’s new flagship location. The continued growth and excitement surrounding Carmel – and the Meridian corridor in particular – provide an ideal backdrop for Encore Sotheby’s International Realty, its Brokers and clients. The city of Carmel is happy to host the new building. Carmel Mayor James Brainard says, “Carmel is pleased to welcome Encore Sotheby’s to its growing family of corporate headquarters. We are also very pleased to see the creativity in design and construction on a building that will occupy a rather odd-shaped lot in a very busy corridor. We look forward watching the company grow in the future.”

Encore Sotheby’s International Realty opened its doors on Indianapolis’ north side at Meridian and 96th Streets in January of 2010. Encore’s relationship with Sotheby’s International Realty affirms its commitment to providing a superior level of service, marketing and expertise in Indianapolis and around the world. Local Expertise. Global Exposure.
