The Carmel City Farmer's Market Click here to go to the Official Carmel City Market Home Page * Ripe juicy tomatoes, fresh cut flowers and homemade jams and jellies are here once again. Entertainment will include music, chef demonstrations, special promotions and popular contests such as the firehouse cook off and the open salsa competition. But the main attraction will continue to be fresh, Indiana-grown produce, plants and fresh cut flowers and specialty items such as free-range chickens, hickory syrups, honey, Amish cheeses and homemade baked goods.
"The hard work and effort of community volunteers who serve on the Farmers’ Market committee have made the market a phenomenal success in a very short time," said Mayor Jim Brainard. "It is wonderful to see friends and neighbors gather every Saturday, visiting, shopping and enjoying the entertainment this committee has worked so hard to put together." The Carmel Farmers’ Market is sponsored by several commercial companies and the City of Carmel.
