Civilians:
Applications are accepted for
open positions
only.
Positions that are open to the public will be posted on this web site. If
you meet the specified job qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
Please
read the posting notice for application procedures. If you do not meet the
job qualifications or do not follow the required procedures, you may not be
eligible for hire. If you have questions about the application requirements
for any position, call Human Resources at 571-2465 or email
hr@carmel.in.gov.
Employment applications may be mailed or delivered to the address below. We
must receive the original application with the applicant’s signature.
Applications are accepted weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Resumes and
cover letters may be emailed to hr@carmel.in.gov, or mailed to the address
below.

All applicants are required to pass a pre-employment drug test and a
background screening before they are hired. Additional tests may be
required.
Police Officers:
Applications are accepted at
any time. Applicants who meet the March 30, 2008, deadline will be eligible
for the next testing process, which begins in May 2008. Check the CPD career

Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation: The Parks Department posts its own
job openings and conducts its own hiring processes. Questions regarding positions with
