Update to December 18, 2007 Home Invasion with Sketch of Suspect The Carmel Police Department continues to investigate a home invasion that occurred at 686 Tappan Street. Two unknown males forced their way into an apartment and attacked a female that lived there. The victim, a 34 year old female of Carmel, was transported to Methodist Hospital where she received treatment for multiple injuries. The most serious injuries were a broken nose and a laceration believed to be caused by a knife used during the attack. Suspect one is described as a stocky built black male with dreadlocks. He was between 5 foot 8 inches and 5 foot 10 inches tall. He was wearing gray coveralls at the time of the attack. (See Attached Sketch) Suspect two was a male of unknown race.
