Carmel Police Department
Special Investigations Unit makes Arrest
Carmel, IN - On today’s date the
Carmel Police Department
Special Investigations Unit, assisted by the
Hamilton/Boone County Drug Task Force, arrested Xiuli Yang
Hinderliter, an Asian female, age 47, on one count of
Prostitution.
The Special Investigations Division of the Carmel Police
Department received a tip in late December regarding
possible illegal activity at the Paradise Massage parlor
located at 622 E. Rangeline Road, Suite E. An investigation
was opened and culminated in the arrest on today’s date.
An undercover officer posed as a client and an offer was
made by Xiuli Hinderliter to perform a sexual act for a sum
of money. Officers then entered the business and arrested
Xiuli Yang Hinderliter for prostitution.
It was verified that the business did have a permit and
Xiuli Hinderliter did have a valid massage therapist
license. Further investigation into the possible revocation
of the business permit and Hinderliter’s license will be
conducted by city officials.
Xiuli Yang Hinderliter was charged with one count of
Prostitution, a Class A Misdemeanor and taken without
incident to the Hamilton County Jail. Her bond is set at
$2,500.00.
