The City of Carmel is in the process of reviewing and approving new traffic laws regarding the responsibilities of motor vehicle operators’ interaction with cyclists and the responsibilities of cyclists when riding in Carmel. On this webpage you will find the draft version of the proposed ordinances and a handout with the basic Do’s and Don’ts that will apply to drivers and cyclists after these ordinances are approved by Carmel’s City Council.

Carmel Access Bikeway Routes and Loops

Cyclist on BikewayThe following links show Carmel’s recently adopted bicycle routes and loops, now to be known as the Carmel Access Bikeway (CAB).

Alternately, you may view a Google map that shows all the recently adopted bicycle routes and loops, or the Carmel Access Bikeway (CAB).

Carmel Access Bikeway Routes and Loops are now available on the Carmel GIS Map's website, too.
