2018 Arts Grant Program
The City of Carmel will begin accepting applications for the 2018 arts grant program on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. The city’s arts grant program is available to organizations, not individuals, which are located in Carmel or conduct programs/performances in Carmel.
Qualified organizations must either have a not-for-profit application or determination letter from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service identifying that it is a not-for-profit corporation exempt from Federal income tax.
Interested applicants should complete the 2018 Arts Grant Program Agreement, leaving the dollar amount blank in paragraph #2 on the first page of the Agreement, have the Agreement signed by an authorized representative of the organization and include the requested exhibits (“A” through “F”) with the submission. Organizations that received a 2017 City of Carmel arts grant must also include Exhibit “G” with their application submission.
NOTE: All applications must also include a copy of the organization’s most recent, available IRS Form 990 and a signed and notarized Affidavit identifying the total income of the organization for either FYE 2017 OR CYE 2016.
The deadline for the initial round of applications is Friday, December 1, 2017. Please submit arts grant applications to the City of Carmel, Attn: Sharon Kibbe, 1 Civic Square, Carmel, IN 46032.
NOTE: Leave the dollar amount blank on the first page (paragraph 2) of the Agreement.
