Vehicle Crash into Building
Carmel, IN – On Tuesday September 21, 2021 Carmel Police responded to a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a building at 4150 E 96th St. Based upon the preliminary investigation, it appears a vehicle traveling west on 96th St. failed to negotiate the roundabout at the intersection of Delegates Row. It then redirected to the north and struck a vehicle that was parked in the lot of 4150 E 96th St. The impact pushed the parked car into the building – causing substantial damage. As a result of the crash two people were transported to area hospitals with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The Carmel Police Department would also like to express our gratitude to the Carmel Fire Department and Indianapolis Fire Department for their assistance with this incident.
Questions related to this incident should be directed to Lt. Tim Byrne at 317-571-2500 or tbyrne@carmel.in.gov.
