The lobby of the Police Department is
open from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm,
Monday though Friday and
Effective immediately, we will not be processing Door-to-Door Vendor permits until further notice.
At this time, administrative fingerprinting will ONLY be provided for Carmel residents.

Services generally available in the lobby area include:
- Towed vehicle releases
- Copies of accident and incident reports
- Vehicles Identification checks
- Local background checks (non-adoption)
- Local background checks (for adoption, must be made between 8 am & 4:30 pm)
- Door-to-door solicitor applications
- Traffic direction/officer applications
- Gun permit applications
