ContractorsFOG1Service Providers must enroll in the City of Carmel Utilities online pump out reporting system for the management and reporting of fats, oils, and grease (FOG) pump-outs. The goals of this digital solution are to standardize compliance, simplify environmental regulation, and enhance consistency of compliance with the City's Sewer Use Ordinance.
Send your company contact email and Septage Hauler permit details to hello@swiftcomply.com or call (317) 304-6022 in order to receive an invitation to create a SwiftComply account.
You will need this account to submit and manage customer pump outs.

All FOG facilities within City of Carmel Utilities’ jurisdiction will be required to demonstrate compliance by digitally submitting grease removal device cleaning information in one of the following ways via SwiftComply. Both options are provided by the City of Carmel Utilities free of charge to the FOG facility and the Service Provider.

  1. Via the FOG facility business profile link provided by SwiftComply: The FOG facility may upload pump out information themselves, by adding details about their most recent cleaning including a photo of the manifest left by the service provider and a photo of the clean and empty grease removal device if it is in an interior location.
Please see Guide for Restaurants/Automotive FOG

  2. Have their service provider upload pump out information: The FOG facility may instead select their current service provider from the list of Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) permitted service providers who are willing to submit manifests to City of Carmel Utilities on their behalf. Service providers should also include a photo of the clean and empty grease removal device if it is in an interior location.
