Home MenuCharter Spectrum: COVID-19 Response
Charter is responding to the coronavirus outbreak and its impact on people’s daily lives.
Together with other broadband and telephone service providers, Charter has signed the FCC’s “Keep Americans Connected Pledge”, where we pledge for the next 60 days that we:
- will not terminate broadband/phone service to any residential or small business customer because of their inability to pay due to coronavirus disruptions
- will waive any late fees incurred by residential or small business customers because of economic circumstances related to the coronavirus pandemic
Above and beyond this pledge, starting on Monday, March 16, Charter will offer free broadband and wi-fi access (up to 100 mbps) for 60 days to households with K-12 or college students that are not already Charter customers.
We recognize that a reliable internet connection is important for customers who may be transitioning to e-learning or working from home.
