City of Carmel Court Information

Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus, Carmel City Court and the Clerk’s Office will be closed to the public until further notice.

Anyone with pending court dates will be continued to a future date, and notice will be sent by email and/or postal mail, depending on what contact information was provided to the court.

You will be able to reach the court by phone, 317-571-2440,
Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
When calling, please listen carefully to all options, as you may have your questions answered without needing to speak to anyone.

The Carmel City Court is a court of limited jurisdiction, where traffic infractions, ordinance violations and criminal misdemeanor cases are heard and decided.
