City of Carmel Court Information


Per the Indiana Supreme Court and Governor Eric Holcomb, Carmel City Court will be closed to the public until at least April 13, 2020. That date is subject to change, depending on the status of the Covid-19 coronavirus.

Anyone with pending court dates will be continued to a future date, and notice will be sent by email and/or postal mail, depending on what contact information was provided to the court.

Monday - Friday between the hours of 9a.m. - 2p.m.
When calling, please listen carefully to all options, as you may have your questions answered without needing to speak to anyone.

The payment window is open to the public between 8:30 and 4:00PM.
The payment window will remain open to the public during the traditional lunch hours.

The Carmel City Court is a court of limited jurisdiction, where traffic infractions, ordinance violations and criminal misdemeanor cases are heard and decided.
